Rebecca “Becky” Morole, age 64, of Wilmington, DE, went home to be with the Lord on August 14th, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Rebecca was an amazing wife, a loving mother, and a good friend to everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her.
Rebecca graduated from Thomas McKean High School in 1980. While working briefly at Bagels and Donuts, she met the love of her life, David. They got married in 1981, and she left the company to start and raise a family. She loved to knit and cross-stitch, do word search puzzles, watch John Wayne movies, and, alongside her daughter Ashley, shop until she dropped.
Summertime evenings would be spent on the couch watching her favorite baseball team, the Philadelphia Phillies, with her husband, David. And while often rarely shown on television, she would love to watch the Las Vegas Raiders play a game of football as well.
Rebecca was born to the late John and Margery Wilson in Wilmington, DE. She is survived by her brother John Wilson Jr., her loving husband David, and her three children, David Jr. (Megan) and their son Collin, John and Ashley.
A viewing will be held on Monday, August 24, 2026, from 10-11AM at McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19808 followed by a service in celebration of Rebecca’s life at 11AM. Burial will follow at Gracelawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests sending memorial contributions to Humane Animal Partners at 455 Stanton Christiana Road, Newark, DE 19713 in Rebecca’s memory.
