Robert N. Cusatis Sr., 87, of Wilmington, DE (Formerly of Shenandoah, PA), passed away surrounded by family on August 14th, 2026.
Robert was a graduate of Brown Vocational High School in Wilmington, DE, and proudly served our country in the United States Army Reserve. Robert’s love of cars brought him work at Hollywood-Perkin’s Plymouth Desoto dealership and then working for New Castle County Government Vehicle Maintenance.
Outside of work, Robert loved spending time with his family, traveling, fishing, canoeing, farming, cooking, NASCAR and the Washington Redskins.
Robert is predeceased by his wife, Peggy Holt Cusatis; his son, Robert N. Cusatis Jr.; and his father and mother, Nicholas F. Cusatis and Alice Krieger Cusatis.
He is survived by his son, John Cusatis Sr. (of New Castle, DE); 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Services for Robert will be private.
