Jennifer A. Waltman (Tolson) age 52, of Middletown, DE, formerly of Newark, DE passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday July 9, 2026.
She was born and raised in Wilmington, DE and was the daughter of the Deboah (Walkins) and Raymond Tolson. Jennifer graduated from Delcastle Technical High School in 1993.
She worked for the former Happy Harry’s, now Walgreen on Main St. Newark and Glasgow, DE. Jennifer also worked at Jiffy Lube as a customer service advisor at the Liberty Plaza Shopping Center until 2021. From there, Jennifer became the caretaker for her father-in-law.
She enjoyed the Delaware Beaches and when down there, a visit to Nic-O-Boli was a must. Jennifer also enjoyed watching, Anime’s (Japanese Animation).
Along with her parents, she is survived by her husband of 22 years, Tim Waltman; son, Mike West and her stepson, James Waltman.
A visitation will be held on Friday, July 17, from 6-8 pm at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington. Services and burial will be held privately.
