Edward John Brady Jr., 61, of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away on June 14, 2026, at Christiana Hospital.
Born and raised in Delaware, Ed was a proud graduate of Delcastle High School and dedicated much of his working life to the skilled trades as a member of Local 74 Plumbers & Pipefitters Union. He was known for his strong work ethic, loyalty to family and friends, and willingness to lend a helping hand whenever it was needed.
Ed found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He was an enthusiastic supporter of the Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies, but above all else, he cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, who brought him tremendous pride and happiness. He also shared a special bond with his beloved dog, Bo.
Ed is survived by his loving wife, Kim Brady; his children, Ashley Brooks, Joseph Brady, and Rylee Brady; his parents, Sandy Kraft and Edward Brady Sr.; his brother, Richard Brady; and his cherished grandchildren, Jack, Cole, Emily, and Harper. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 18 from 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Elks Lodge, 1310 Carruthers Lane, Wilmington, Delaware 19803.
Ed’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him and in the countless lives he touched throughout his years.
