He was deeply devoted to Judy and to his two daughters, Nicole Topkis Pickles and Julie Topkis Nason. Bill took immense pride in his family and especially cherished time spent with his grandchildren, Ben and Max Pickles, and Lange Scanlan. He also held a special fondness for his son-in-law, Jaimie Pickles. Bill is further survived by his sister, Lynda Berman, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Bill was a graduate of P.S. DuPont High School. He attended Wake Forest College and later graduated from the University of Delaware.
