Our beloved Brett Russell Miller, 47, passed away on April 14, 2026.
Born on June 18, 1978 to Elizabeth Askew Stevens and John Bruce Miller, Brett was a beloved son, brother, nephew, uncle and friend known for his kind heart, creative spirit, keen mind and love of music. He attended Garnet Valley High School and then received his high school diploma. He continued his education in community outreach programs. He cherished time in nature with family and friends – mountains, beach, parks - and his special interests were organic gardening , art and glass blowing.
Brett is survived by his mother Elizabeth Stevens (nee Askew), stepfather Frederick Stevens III, and his sister Ashley Miller (Patterson Brown) and nephew Patterson Brown III and niece Elizabeth Brown; his aunts Nancy Peck, Susan Walsh, Alexa Miller, and Rebecca Rives (Frank), his cousins Susan Walsh (Jamin AAsum), Haley Deal (Brian), Hope Askew, Greg Bobb and Christina Bobb and step-siblings, Christopher Stevens, Peter Stevens, Alexandra Pasternak, and a host of dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his father John Bruce Miller, his uncles Stuart Miller, James Walsh, and John Askew.
