He went on to build a successful career as a Senior Piping Designer, traveling to various locations, including India. After 25 years with DuPont, Bill continued his career for more than 20 years with KBR Engineering Company. In addition, he worked part-time at Sears for 25 years.
Bill had a lifelong love for dogs and shared a special bond with all of his pets. He enjoyed spending time at the beach, fishing, and relaxing at his second home in Port Delmarva near Rehoboth Beach.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara; his two sons, William (Martha) and Brian (Polly); and his three grandchildren, Blake, Luke, and Emma, whom he adored. He is also survived by his sisters, Maryellen Morano and Donna Corcoran (Patrick); his sister-in-law, Joanne and Jan Robinson; and his brother-in-law, Charles Gears (Mary); as well as many nieces and nephews.
