Patricia F. Howerton, age 90, passed away peacefully March 21, 2026.
Patricia was a full-time mother, homemaker, a former Eucharistic Minister at Holy Child, and a past prefect of the BVM Sodality. After raising her children, she became a Senior Teller for WSFS and retired to take care of her granddaughter. Patricia had a deep love for her family and keeping traditions alive. She followed in her parents footsteps of making homemade Polish kielbasa at Christmas along with her siblings, children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She would even make a special treat of gingerbread men which the kids would always look forward to.
She loved to crochet, knit, and sew along with crossword and jigsaw puzzles, gameshows, cruising, and casinos. You could count on her to show up to sporting events to cheer on her children and grandchildren and even practice with them. She will be deeply missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Agnes Leski, her sister Anita Leski, and her great granddaughter Isabella Falkowski.
Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Franklin, her daughters Rosemary Falkowski (Edward) Francine Segner (Karl), and son Franklin Howerton, Jr. She is survived by her grandchildren Edward Falkowski (Andrea), Adam Falkowski (Michelle), Brianna Rome (Mark), Jillian Desmond (Russell) and great grandchildren Ava Falkowski, Nicholas, Falkowski, Aidan Falkowski, Nadia Falkowski, Lillian Falkowski, Joshua Falkowski, Annabelle Falkowski, Violet Rome and a future great grandson.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at the Church of the Holy Child, 2500 Naamans Rd. Wilmington, DE, on April 1st at 11 AM. Friends and Family may begin calling at 10 AM. Burial will be at a later date.
