Cathy Lynn Sidwell Lazorisak, age 58, of Wilmington, DE, passed away, following a courageous battle with cancer, on Friday February 20, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born and raised in Wilmington and is the daughter Linda K. (Norris) Sidwell Robinson and the late Clyde P. Sidwell. Cathy graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1985.
Cathy was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and niece. She loved to travel—especially to Walt Disney World—and enjoyed shopping, particularly for shoes. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her family and being close to those she loved.
Cathy was predeceased by her father, Clyde Sidwell, and her grandparents, Virginia and Earl Norris, and Edith and Clyde Sidwell. She is survived by her Mom, Linda, and her Dad, Bernard Robinson Jr.; her three daughters, Hayley Spicer, Isabelle Lazorisak, and Annalise Lazorisak; her three siblings, William Sidwell, Amanda Gibson (William), and Bernard Robinson III (Karyn); her aunt, Beatrice Manley; her uncle, Earl Norris (Cheryl); and many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 26 from 10:30 to 11:30 am at St. Helena Church, 602 Philadelphia Pike, Wilmington, DE 19809. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 am. Burial will be held privately.
