Karen L. Cruciano, age 69, passed away after a brief illness on January 7th, 2026. She was born in Wilmington Delaware on November 24th, 1956. Karen was a special needs child. Despite her disabilities, including epilepsy, she enjoyed life.
She loved her family and all the people that cared for her. She loved babies and animals. She especially enjoyed arts and crafts like coloring and sticker books. Karen enjoyed watching cooking shows and loved to help make meals. Karen always offered her assistance with any task.
She was pre-deceased by her father, Albert Cruciano Jr., who volunteered with the ARC of Delaware that advocates for Delawareans with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Karen is survived by her mother, two brothers, and five nieces.
A visitation will be held from 10:30 to 11 am on Wednesday, January 14 at McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington, DE where a funeral service will follow at 11 am. Burial will be at All Saints Cemetery.
