Emma M. Buckland, age 92, of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025. She was born on July 2, 1933, in Wilkesboro, Pennsylvania.
Emma lived in Wilmington for many years and devoted her life to her family, faith, and helping others. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She worked at DPNL and the Rug Mill and was known for her strong work ethic.
She enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson, reading, crocheting, and playing cards. Emma was kind, caring, and always willing to help those in need. She loved attending church at King’s Assembly of God. Emma is survived by her children: daughters Linda Busch (Mike) and Sissy Shelton (Jeff), and sons Larry Fabuien (Cheryll), Ted Fabuien ( Maryjane), and Tim Fabuien (Diane); 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved spouse, William James Buckland, and her sisters.
A memorial service will be held on January 10, 2026, at McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19808, where friends and family may call from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be private.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
