Andrew “Scott” Grieve passed from this life on December 21, 2025, at Accent Care Hospice at Christiana Hospital, at 77 years of age. Scott grew up in Wilmington, DE and graduated from John Dickinson High School in 1966. He was owner of Scott Automotive and co-owner of AA Automotive both in Wilmington, DE.
He is survived by his sons, Stuart Grieve of Danvers, MA, Sean (Nora) Grieve of Haddon Heights, NJ, and daughter Sheryl (Todd) Satterfield of Bel Air, MD. He is also survived by his grandchildren Ruby, Luna and Lewis and sisters Polly McCarthy and Bonnie Hudson. He was predeceased by his wife Nancy Shizu Grieve, father Lewis Grieve and mother Ruth Grieve.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on January 2, 2026, at Red Clay Creek Presbyterian Church, 500 McKennans Church Rd., Wilmington, DE 19808. Friends may call beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Gracelawn Memorial Park will follow.
