John J. “Jack” Connor, of Newark, DE passed away on December 12, 2025 with his loving wife by his side. He worked for the F. Schumacher Co. for 25 years then for Acme Market for 11 years before retiring. Jack was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
He is preceded in death by his sisters, Marian Bruestle and Regina Rynkowski. Jack is survived by his wife of 50 years, Helen Connor; his 2 brothers, Lawrence and James Connor and their families, and many nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Monday December 22 from 9:30 – 10: 30 am at McCrery and Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Highway Wilmington 19808. A graveside service will follow in the chapel at Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington.
