Vasiliki Kormalos passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was 83. Born in Larissa, Greece, to Eustratios and Eleni Paris, she was the youngest of five siblings. Vasiliki was preceded in death by her husband, Mikes; and siblings, Fenelon, Erato, and Marika.
She is survived by her sister, Kleoniki Vassiliou; her son, Vassili Kormalos, and his wife, Amy; and her grandchildren, Michael and Melina, as well as nieces and nephews. Vasiliki was known for her independent spirit and boundless energy, making friends wherever she went. She was a loving and lovable person, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 26 from 10 am –11am followed by a service at 11am at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 808 N. Broom St. Wilmington 19806. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
