Dolores G. Ragazzo, 93, died peacefully in her home on November 14, 2025. She was born in Wilmington, DE to Anna M. Gallagher (nee Rowe) and James B. Gallagher. Dolores attended Alexis I Dupont High School, graduating in 1951. After graduation, she joined the DuPont Company where she worked in various departments until her retirement after 30-plus years of service. She was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan.
Dolores was predeceased by her husband of 69 years, John J. Ragazzo; her sister, Ann “Chick” Naughton; and her niece, Debbie Swiatek. She is survived by 17 nieces and nephews and their extended families.
The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff of Home Instead for their dedication and care over the last two years, and also to Delaware Hospice.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 22nd at St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church (2503 Centerville Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808). Friends and family may call beginning at 9:00 a.m. Interment at All Saints will follow. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
