On Wednesday November 12, 2025, Frank O’Toole, passed away at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Wilmington, DE on June 19, 1957 to Frank & Shirley O’Toole.
As a kid, Frank enjoyed the outdoors; swimming, camping and sledding with his friends. Frank played soccer for Concord High School and after graduating in the class of 75’, he attended the University of Delaware, was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity (where he made lifetime friends) and went on to be a stockbroker. Frank was a history buff, nostalgic at heart, enjoyed dancing, cooking holiday dinners, entertaining and watching Notre Dame football. His focus in life was always on gathering with friends and relatives. He provided a loving home (1 at a time) for the cats that came his way.
Frank was predeceased in death by his father (2006) and mother (2020). He is survived by his 2 sisters, Charlene and Shirley; nephews John and Christopher Carroll; several cousins, great-nieces and great-nephew. A catholic funeral service in memory of Frank will he held on November 21, 2025. Visitation will begin at 10:30am at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3924 Concord Pike, Wilmington, with a service at 11:00am. Entombment following at Cathedral Cemetery, 2400 Lancaster Pike, Wilmington, in the Chapel of the Holy Cross.
