Tina Marie McCaffrey (Valentino) passed away on October 20, 2025 surrounded in love by her family.
Born on November 27, 1951 and raised in South Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late Joseph M. and Louise Valentino. Tina was a devoted wife, mother and mom-mom whose life was centered around family. She shared 50 years of marriage with her husband William McCaffrey and together they created a home filled with warmth, laughter and love.
Devoted to her children and grandchildren, Tina never missed a moment to cheer them on. Whether the classroom or the sidelines, she was constantly present and also served as a coach to her Godchild’s baseball team.
She loved all animals. She worked at a cat rescue and fostered many of her own. Tina was known for her fabulous cooking, especially her Christmas cookies.
She is survived by her loving children Joseph (Natalie), William (Rebecca) and her cherished grandchildren Anthony, Emmalynn, Joseph & Nolan. Also survived by her sister Teresa DeStefano (Joseph) and her cherished niece Danielle Barre (Nelson) and her nephew Joseph Sobaro Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Friday, October 24 from 10am-12pm at McCrery & Harra Funeral Homes 3924 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE
