Carol Ann Grant, age 66, passed away on September 30, 2025 at her home in Wilmington, Delaware. Carol was born in Wilmington on June 22, 1959 to Irma and Wiliam Grant. She graduated from Brandywine High School in 1977. She was a dental assistant for 10 years before working as a floral designer until she was forced to retire due to back injuries at the age of 50. Her love for animals was her passion as she adopted many dog and cat rescues as well as dozens of birds and a pond full of fish. Carol is survived by Robert Zehner, her husband of 39 years, her mother, her sister, Faye Sullivan, as well as 6 nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private.
