Peter A. Tancredi, 91, of Wilmington Delaware (Formerly of Penns Grove, New Jersey), passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, June 17th, 2025.
Peter was a proud graduate of Salesianum High School and went on to build a lifetime career at General Motors. His passion for automobiles was more than just a job – it was a true calling. Whether following motorsports, working under the hood of a classic car, or sharing his knowledge with others, Peter’s love for cars was evident in everything that he did,
Family was always at the heart of Peter’s life and his greatest joy came from being surrounded by those he loved. He deeply cherished time spent together – whether at family gatherings, sharing stories, or enjoying everyday moments. Peter left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Peter is survived by his wife Monette Tancredi, his children, Michael and Lori, his grandchild Justin Murphy and his great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Easton Murphy.
In keeping with Peter’s wishes, all services will be private.
