Jean M. Smith (nee Smyth), of Newark, DE passed away on June 24, 2025 at the age of 88.
Jean was a 1954 graduate of Wilmington High School. She retired from the DuPont Co. in 1985, the state of Delaware and MBNA in 2004. Jean loved to follow the Phillies and especially loved her faithful companion, Emma.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, James E. and Etna Pyle Smyth and sisters Ruth, Helen and Etna.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews..
Burial will be private.
