Wolfe, Rebecca B. (Becky)

Rebecca B. (Becky) Wolfe beloved wife, mother, mom mom and friend, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at the age of 84. She was the heart and soul of her home, dedicating her life to nurturing her family with boundless love, warmth, and care.

Becky was the tenth child of the late Harry and Hulda (Chapin) Bogert of Stillwater, Pennsylvania. Becky found joy in the simple yet profound moments of daily life—creating a welcoming home, preparing cherished family meals, and ensuring that those she loved felt supported and safe. Her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering devotion touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Becky was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan for many years. Over the years she cared for many children including extended family, children of friends and neighbors, and her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She never missed any of her grandchildren’s activities many times travelling between Middletown, Delaware and Oxford, Pennsylvania in the same day. Becky did not drive; however, she would often walk with her grandchildren to Happy Harry’s, Burger King and Friendly’s for daily outings and treats. She treasured the annual Bogert and Wolfe family reunions and Christmas parties. She supported her husband’s love of tractors and attended many tractor shows and events. Becky was an active member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church for 61 years.

Becky joins her parents and siblings in the Great Beyond: her mother, Hulda; father, Harry; brothers Leland (Arlene), Ernest, Stanley (Blanche), D. Guy (Judy), Donald Bogert, sister Elsie (William) Mack and brothers-in-law Almond (Pat) Wolfe, Louis Harris, Byron Burgess, Carl Kyttle, Ken Johnson.

Surviving are her husband of 66 years, Ed, sons Phil (Patti), Tim (Kim), Grandchildren Corey (Deb), Zach (Erica), Tyler (Alexis), Heather, Dalton (Maggie), Logan (Noah), Great-Grandchildren, Leah, Max, Luke, Sophia, Noah, Olivia and Amelia, sisters Erma Harris, Florence Burgess, Ruth Johnson, sisters-in-law Edna and Mary Ellen Bogert, Margaret Kyttle, brother-in-law Arnold (Barbara) Wolfe and many dear friends and family members who will miss her immensely.

A celebration of Becky’s life will be held at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 525 Polly Drummond Hill Road, Newark, Delaware 19711 on Saturday, May 31, 2025. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:30 am followed by a service and interment.
