Ciesielka, Robert E. (Bob)

In Loving Memory of Robert (Bob) Ciesielka October 14, 1951 – May 13, 2025.

With heartfelt appreciation for his life, we celebrate the memory of Robert (Bob) Ciesielka, who passed away on May 13, 2025, following a courageous battle with cancer. Bob was a devoted brother, a cherished uncle, and a loyal friend to many. His unwavering kindness, wisdom, and integrity left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his mother (Josephine) and father (Thomas) and leaves behind two brothers Thomas (Christine) and Richard (Mo).

Also fondly remembering him as “Bun” are Sister-in-Law, Ann, two nephews, Christopher (Bec) and Terry (Kate) and one niece, Amy (Jason), four grandnieces, Maddy (Brandon), Hanna (Kyle), Teagan and Paige and one grandnephew, Owen.

A proud graduate of Roman Catholic High School for Boys, Bob went on to attend Ursinus College, where he cultivated the skills and dedication that defined his professional life.

Bob devoted the majority of his career to the healthcare industry, where he held several leadership roles that reflected his exceptional organizational talent and commitment to service. Through these roles, Bob contributed to the day-to-day excellence and compassionate infrastructure of the organizations he served, always striving to improve patient experiences and team collaboration. Colleagues remember him as a steady presence, a thoughtful leader, and a generous mentor.

Bob’s legacy is one of dedication, quiet strength, and heartfelt connection. Though he may no longer walk among us, his impact lives on in the lives he touched and the systems he helped strengthen. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

To Scott, as we all grieve in Bob’s passing, we are so appreciative for everything you have done for him. Over his entire life he could not have had a better friend. He’s in a better place now, but his time on earth was made so much more complete, because of you.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday May 23 at 11am at St. Catherine of Sienna Roman Catholic Church, 2503 Centerville Rd. Wilmington, DE 19808. Burial will be held privately.
