William F. Boulanger, age 80, of Wilmington, DE died Thursday, May 8, 2025 surrounded by family at Delaware Hospice in Milford, DE.
Bill served in the Delaware National Guard and was a 1970 graduate of Delaware Technical Community College majoring in Electronics Engineering Technology. He was a master electrician and owned and operated W.F. Boulanger & Co. and Tri-State Technology with many commercial clients in Delaware.
After his retirement he volunteered with the USO at Philadelphia Airport and later as an Airport Greeter. This later led to employment with USAirways and American Airlines in customer service. He was a licensed private pilot.
He was the son of Neil and Pauline Boulanger and predeceased by his sister, Barbara Boulanger; brother, John Boulanger; great-grandson, Blake Davis; and step-daughter Susan Holst Strange. He is survived by wife, Carol Bryant; daughter, Stephanie Hurley (Timothy); grandson, Bradley Davis (Melissa); great-grandchildren Sofia and Brodey Davis; brother James Boulanger (Doris); niece, Holly Boulanger; nephew, Jeffrey Boulanger (Linda); great-nieces Miranda and Colleen Boulanger.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 16th, at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Home (3924 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE 19803). Friends may call beginning at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in his memory to the USO or Delaware Hospice.
