Robert Martin Reynolds “Bobby” November 28, 1955-January 30, 2025
Bobby went home to be with the Lord surrounded by the family that he loved and so dearly loved him, Thursday evening January 30, 2025
Bobby was born in Wilmington, DE to Willard Reynolds Sr. and Ruthann Reynolds. He grew up in Newark, DE suburbs or at that time was the country, he grew up in a farm environment and was no stranger to horses, cattle, hogs, chickens and ducks. Bobby loved and respected animals. He always had an interest in equipment, and was a natural operator of excavating machinery. He worked with his dad and brothers in his early years. Later working in the paving business, where he met the love of his life Betty. Bobby and Betty were married July 3, 1985 and remained together until his passing.
Bobby was preceded in death by his father and mother. He is survived by his loving wife Betty, his 3 brothers, Willard Reynolds Jr (Shirley), Joseph Reynolds (Sarahjane), Willard C. Reynolds (Chasity), stepson Roudie Harrison (Carol), step daughters Stella Sartin (Ronnie), Betty Wells (Bill). 13 Grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. All of whom he loved dearly and will be missed by all.
A viewing will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025 from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19808 where a celebration of life will follow at 1:30. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
