Louise Bennett Leauby, age 94, passed away on July 8, 2023 at Accent Hospice, Christiana.
She was born in Wilmington, DE to the late Joseph and Louise Marousek. Louise retired after 50 plus years as office manager from M& M Distributing Company. She enjoyed bowling, cooking, dominos, cake baking and cooking Sunday dinners.
She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur W. Bennett. Louise is survived by her sons, William A. Bennett, Sr., Joseph A. Bennett, Sr., Dave L. Bennett, 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023 from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19808 where a service will follow at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle, DE.
