On June 1st,1957, God blessed Jacques Magras Sr. And Carmen Serrano with a beautiful baby girl, and they named her Judy. Judy was loved and cherished dearly.

A rare Diamond Judy was, and very multi-talented. She was gifted with her hands. During her early years she loved fishing, often times would skip school just to fish. Judy loved going to the beach, riding horses, and admired all animals. Judy was the definition of a rough island girl.

Judy moved to the United States in 1972. She settled In New York and had 3 beautiful kids. One daughter, Lenise and 2 sons, Gordon and Miguel. Judy always had more than one job. Judy worked as a construction worker, renovating buildings she even worked in a casino dealing cards. Judy spoke many languages. She was just a Jack of all Trades. If you knew Judy, you knew she loved her grandkids dearly. That’s all she would talk about.

We may grow

Memories may fade

But memories of a grandmother

Will never go away

Her smile shows in mine

Her hands help me sew

Her love fills my heart

Her spirit runs through my soul

In loving memory of Judy

The roots to my family tree

We live our lives as her legacy

By granddaughter SaMaè
