Our dear mother Barbara R. Townsend, sadly passed away on June 1, 2023 surrounded by loved ones. She was a wonderful wife, fantastic mother, and devoted grandmother and great-grandmother who was always there when we needed her. She was always so generous and welcoming. When you went to mom’s you always knew you would be well fed. She will be greatly missed!

A viewing will be held on Tuesday June 6 from 10 :00 - 11:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at the Church of the Holy Child, 2500 Naamans Rd. Wilmington 19810. Burial will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery Springfield, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital for Children,www.stjude.org.
