Carol A. Bach, age 78, of Wilmington, DE, passed away unexpectedly at her home on April 6, 2023.
She was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA and was the daughter of the late Theresa M. (Berberich) and William J. Brophy. Carol graduated from Little Flower Catholic School for Girls in 1962.
We mourn the passing of Carol, who spent most of her life dedicated to raising her family. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who always put the needs of others before her own. Carol was a woman of simple pleasures who found joy in the little things in life. One of her favorite pastimes was reading, and she also enjoyed her Kindle.
Although we are heartbroken by Carol’s passing, we take comfort in knowing that she lived a life filled with love and kindness. Her legacy will live on through her family and friends, and we will always remember her unwavering devotion to those she loved.
Her husband of 54 years, John H. Bach “Jay”, died in March of 2022. Carol is survived by her three sons, William J. “Bill” Bach and twins, Jason R. Bach (Meredith) and James H. Bach (Melissa); four grandchildren, Gianna, Grant, Hannah and Alex and a brother, John Brophy (Ramona).
Service and burial will be held privately.
