Life Story of Michael D. White
Michael D. White, of Wilmington, DE, formerly of Chester, PA, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2023. Michael was a graduate of Claymont High School where he excelled in track and field.
Michael had a love of cars his entire life. He was always fascinated with large and luxury automobiles. Michael was employed at Zany Brainy’s for years where he set himself apart as a sales professional and in the information technology field.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents Barbara A. White Fourney and Charles Duncan as well as his daughter Whitney Renee White.
He is survived by his two children Michael A. White and Thema Chanblee (Matthew); seven grandchildren Jada White, Sanai White, Michael White, Jr., Gabriel White Jakeem, Jakira Chamblee, and Jameer Chamblee; best friend Deatrice White-Ahmed; uncle Daniel White, Jr. (Shirley); aunts Audrey Jenkins, Sandra Boddie, and Jennifer White; and a host of cousins and friends.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects from 10-11 am on Wednesday, April 5 at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19808 where a funeral will take place at 11 am. Interment will follow the service at All Saints Cemetery.
