Sharon L. Goldblatt, age 70, of Bear, DE passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 19, 2023.
She was born in Oakland, MD and raised in the City of Wilmington and was the daughter of the late Margaret (Ford) and Ray Ellifritz, Sr. Sharon graduated from Wilmington High School in 1971.
Sharon’s career was the most important aspect of her life, she was a homemaker. She enjoyed decorating for the holidays, especially Christmas. She collected Hallmark ornaments for herself and all her family. Sharon was an avid Eagles fan.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Louis A. Goldblatt; her 3 children, John R. Campbell, Jr., Anthony D. Campbell (Betsy) and Crystal M. Zewe (Adam); 2 grandchildren, Brenden Campbell and Bella Campbell; a sister, Diane Minsker and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Sharon was also preceded in death by her siblings, Carol Boone, William Ellifritz, Doris Ellifritz and Ray Ellifritz, Jr.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 23 at 1pm at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N Dupont Hwy, New Castle, DE.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
