Joanne R. Karpinski, 86, of Wilmington, DE passed away on January 27, 2023. Joanne was employed by the city of Wilmington with 35 plus years of service before retiring. She loved her time spent at White House Beach where she enjoyed crabbing, fishing and spending time with her best friend Jean Wysocki. Joanne was also an avid Phillies and Eagles fan.
Joanne was preceded in death by her parents, William and Anna Homer and her brothers, Billy and Eddie. She is survived by her daughter Donna Cebenka and her husband Mike and her twin brother Bobby.
Friends are welcome for a visitation from 10-11 am with a memorial service to follow at 11am. on Friday February 17 at the McCrery and Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington 19808. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Faithful Friends, 12 Germay Dr. Wilmington, DE 19804.
