Peggy Anne Greenholt, age 89, of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully on February 4, 2023.
She was born in Hanover, PA and was the daughter of the late Katharine I. (Graham) and Richard R. Weaver. Peggy Anne attended schools in her hometown of McSherrystown, PA and graduated from Delone Catholic High School in 1950.
She spent most of her time as a homemaker. Peggy Anne reentered the workforce as a salesperson at Storm’s Shoes and eventually at Strawbridge & Clothier.
She enjoyed card games, reading and traveling with her husband.
Peggy Anne’s Husband, Richard N. Greenholt died in 2006. She is survived by 3 Children: Andrew Greenholt (Stephanie), Connie Facciolo, Paul Greenholt (Susan). 8 Grandchildren: Amanda Facciolo (Bradley Owens), Amy Facciolo (Kyle Pinder), Erik Greenholt, Eva Greenholt, William Facciolo Jr., Mariesa Greenholt, Claudia Greenholt (Grace Picard) and Zane Greenholt and 5 Great-grandchildren: James Owens, Emma Facciolo, Mackenzie Owens, Adam Pinder, Julia Pinder.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 11 at Church of the Holy Child, 2500 Naamans Rd., Wilmington, DE 19810 from 9 am to 10:45 am. A Mass of Christion Burial will follow at 11 am. Burial will be at St. Joseph on the Brandywine Cemetery, Wilmington.
