With sad hearts we announce that Carol passed away peacefully at home with her family on January 27, 2023 at age 71. She was born March 29, 1951 in Delaware County, PA. She died after a courageous five-year battle with frontal lobe dementia.
She was predeceased by her parents, Victor and Evelyn and brother Donald Michener; survived by her brother and sister in-law, David & Nancy Michener, nephew Blake and niece Molly.
With her family, Carol grew up in Glenolden and attended St. Joseph’s Collingdale Grade School and graduated from Prendergast High School in Drexel Hill. Carol attended Temple University and graduating with a BS degree in business. Post-graduation, Carol worked in the business world for many years. There became a point where Carol wanted to help people and she decided to enroll in the Drexel Nursing Program. Upon graduation, Carol dedicated her life to caring for patients at long term nursing facilities.
