Elizabeth Joan Baldassare, 91, entered into eternal rest on January 10, 2023. She was the beloved mother of Maria, Jeannine, Michele, and Theresa; grandmother of Michelle, Beth, Michael, Dana, and Michael; and sweet great-grandmother to Benjamin. Elizabeth also leaves behind sons-in law, Joseph and Ken; and grandsons and granddaughters-in-law, Taylor, Andrew, Andy, Adam, and Bella She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Michael; daughters, Jeannine and Michele; and her parents, Maurice and Jennie Murphy.
Although her life was not easy, she lived it with grace, dignity, and a great sense of humor. Elizabeth loved to sing with Andrew, her grandchildren, and her grandson, Ben. She had a deep appreciation of nature, art and music, and also had an unquenchable curiosity and thirst for knowledge. Elizabeth was very proud to have been an Executive Principal Associate for the District Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn, New York. She was thoughtful, generous, open-minded, and touched more lives than she realized. For this, she will always be remembered.
