Joseph Francis Jamison, Jr. (Jamie), 73, of Wilmington, DE passed away on December 25, 2022.
Jamie was born on May 2, 1949 in Wilmington, DE to the late Joseph and Margaret (Healy) Jamison. He was a graduate of Salesianum High School and Wesley College, co-owner of Brandywine Nurseries, and past president of the American Nursery & Landscape Association and the Delaware Nursery & Landscape Association. His greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.
Jamie is survived by his siblings, Mary Chris Parsons, Brien (Betsy), Ellen Kullman (Michael); seven nieces and nephews, Matt Parsons (Tyler), Becky Bolden (Skyler), Meg Clendaniel (Mike), Brien Jamison, Jr. (Liz), Maggie, Stephen, David Kullman; and five great-nieces.
A viewing for Jamie will be held on Monday, January 2 from 5-7 p.m. at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Home (3924 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE 19803). A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 3, at St. Mary Magdalen Church (7 Sharpley Road, Wilmington, DE 19803). Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Sunday Breakfast Mission, PO Box 352 Wilmington, DE 19899.
