Philip N. Seamon, age 75, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2022. He was born in Atlantic City. Phil was the son of the late Frederic and Concetta Seamon. He graduated from St. James HS in 1965. Phil then had his undergraduate studies at Villanova University and received an MBA from Drexel University. He proudly served his country in the US Navy.
Phil worked for PriceWaterhouse Coopers an accounting firm and FTI Consulting, a financial consulting firm as a Corporate Financial Consultant specializing in bankruptcy and reorganization.
Phil was an avid fisherman, starting as a teenager on the family commercial fishing boats and continued his enjoyment throughout his life. Later in life, he took up golf. Bringing Phil his most joy was the time he spent with his family especially Christmas trips to NY City, vacations in Rehoboth, DE and Lake George, NY.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years Patricia (Barker) Seamon; 2 siblings, Miriam Bateman (Ted) and Fred Seamon (Eve). Phil is also preceded in death by a sister, Kathryn M. Seamon-McGowan.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 27 from 10-11 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary, 4701 Weldin Rd, Wilmington, DE 19803, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am. Burial will follow at St. Joseph on the Brandywine Cemetery.
