Our dear mother, Nilda Salas, sadly passed away on November 10, 2022, at the age of 70. Born on January 1, 1952, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Edilia Rosado and Manuel Santiago.
She was predeceased by her husband, Julio A. Salas; son, William Velazquez, Jr.; daughters, Lissette A Velazquez (Josue Molina) and Angela Velazquez (Gregorio Perez). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, five siblings, and several great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Seventh Day Advent Church in Chester, Pennsylvania.
Nilda was very loved and will be missed terribly. If you would like to pay your respects, you are welcome to attend a memorial service in her honor at McCrery and Harra Funeral Home (3710 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19808) on November 15th. A public viewing will begin at 11am followed by a service at noon.
