Louise P. Maucher, age 88, of Wilmington, DE and formerly of The Cliffhouse Condo, dearly departed mother, friend and inspiration to many; has passed away peacefully on November 8, 2022 after her brief stay at Sunrise of Wilmington.
She is survived by her sons, Michael and John and her daughter Anita (Fredericks); her grandchildren, Renee, Raymond, Scott, Katie and Joseph, as well as, her great granddaughter Billie.
Louise was a secretary for the Dupont company for over 20 years and she also worked for over 10 years at the former Wilmington Trust as a bank teller.
Louise leaves a legacy of love, sharing, caring and fun. She was born in Wilmington to Gaetano and Emily Pedicone, and spent her early years in Wilmington before marrying John Maucher and moving to the suburbs to raise her family. She graduated from Wilmington HS. Louise shared her love of life that included travel, and occasional wine(s) or cocktail, trips to Wildwood, and the casinos with her immediate and extended families (The Branmar Babes, Calvetti/Grimes families and her Cliffhouse Condo family).
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 19 from 10-11 am where a memorial service will follow at 11 am at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Homes, 3924 Concord Pk., Wilmington. Burial will be held privately.
