Tolino, Delores "Dee"

Delores “Dee” Tolino was called to Heaven as she passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, November 5, 2022. Born in Wilmington, DE, Delores recently celebrated her 90th birthday in her Newark, DE home where she lived for 54 years.

Delores loved life and truly lived every moment with joy and gratitude. Always seen with a smile on her face, she was eager to have fun and laugh, even in the darkest of times. She enjoyed bingo, card games, baking, music, and road trips. Most of all, Delores was happiest when surrounded by her family. She loved holidays, but especially Christmas which she was known to celebrate nearly year-round. Delores loved cooking delicious Italian meals for her family, and her family loved eating them!

Delores was a two-time cancer survivor. When doctors gave her only a few months to live, she defied all odds and lived another 30 years. She believed laughter and positivity were the best medicines.

Delores‘s life was guided by the word of God and she was a humble servant. In her sunset, Delores leaves behind a legacy of strength, faith, and love, which will be carried on by her family.
