Constance (Connie) Lynn (Baxter) Steward went peacefully to her heavenly home on October 12, 2022 after a short illness. Born in Indiana, Pennsylvania on March 16, 1941 to her parents John and Gertrude (Morgan) Baxter.
Connie is survived by her daughter Dorinda G. Cargile (Tony) of Spanish Fort, AL, her son Timothy J Steward of Elkton, MD, a sister Deborah Franey (Bill) of Wilmington, DE and a brother Jeffrey Baxter (Lisa) and her precious dog Bella. She is also survived by her grandchildren Michael, Allen, and Joshua Probert, Braden and Olivia Steward and many great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Willie Steward, her parents, her sisters Rebecca Larsen, Janet Kelley and her brother Frederick Baxter.
Connie was a graduate of Wilmington High School. She loved antiques and at one time had her own store. She loved to crochet and made many beautiful things for family and friends. Most of all she loved being with her family and her many beloved dogs.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held privately.
