Francis “Frank” Joseph Killian, age 77, passed suddenly August 31, 2022.
Frank graduated from St. Joseph’s University and completed his Master’s Degree at Jefferson University. He entered nursing in his 40’s and made his career as a cardiac nurse practitioner. Frank was known for his sense of humor and cheerful bedside manner. He loved the beach, and fishing anywhere he could find water. He was a longtime member of the Quaker City String Band, and loved spending time with his family.
Frank was predeceased by his brother James Pickett. He is survived by his wife Mary Killian; children Brian Fagan (Gina), John Fagan (Kathy), Michelle Killian, Francis Killian, Jr. (Nicole), David Killian (Lauren); grandchildren Francis III, Casey, Colin, Katie, Jack, Shane, Kylie, Michael, Cara, and David.
A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 8 at 11 am at the Church of the Holy Child, 2500 Naamans Rd., Wilmington, DE 19810 where the family will receive friends at 10 am. Interment will take privately.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made in Frank’s name to Juvenile Diabetes Research 555 Croton Rd., Suite 111, King of Prussia, PA 19406.
