Mildred S. Quarles, age 95, of Wilmington, DE, died August 11, 2022 at Shipley Living.
Mildred was a homemaker and member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Hercules Country Club and Junior Board Member of St. Francis Hospital.
Mildred was predeceased by her husband, of 68 years, Edlow “E.B.” in 2017, and son David Quarles.
She is survived by her children Gary Quarles of Roswell, GA, Stephen Quarles of Mill Valley, CA, and daughter Karen Hunsberger of Wilmington, NC; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 23 at 11 am at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 1314 Foulk Rd., Wilmington, DE. Interment will take place privately.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in Mildred’s name to St. Paul’s, the American Cancer Society (cancer.org) or the American Heart Association, 200 Continental Dr., Suite 101, Newark, DE 19713.
