John F. Maguire, Jr. age 87, of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully on July 28, 2022.
He was born and raised in Wilmington, DE and was the son of the late Paulina (Riccio) and John F. Maguire, Sr. John graduated from Salesianum School in 1952. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharge.
John worked for the DuPont Company for over 40 years where he worked in Research and Development. He enjoyed playing golf and his time at the race track.
John is survived by 3 brothers, Francis Maguire, George Maguire and Jimmy Maguire (Ann) and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Maguire.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 3 from 10-11 am at McCrery & Harra Funeral Homes, 3710 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington where a memorial service will follow at 11 am. Burial will be held privately.
