Martha L. Mendenhall, 87, died on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Wilmington Hospital in the AccentCare Hospice Center. She was a graduate of Media High School and worked as a receptionist at the Kutz Home for 19 years.
Martha grew up in Delaware on a dairy farm on the property that became Astra Zeneca on Concord Pike. She lived in Fairfax until her passing. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church and West Grove Presbyterian Mobile Church. She was also very known for being outgoing and personable. One of her passions included taking a drive to Lancaster to live in the moment, enjoy the scenery and local cuisine. Alan and Jackie most enjoyed spending time and running errands with her.
Martha was predeceased by her parents, Stephen and Blanche Logue; her husband, Alan H. Mendenhall; and sisters, Elizabeth Logue Steyer and Daurice Logue Grubbs.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Firmani (Tony); her son, Alan S. Mendenhall (Jackie); and grandchildren (whom she loved dearly), Kaitlyn and Erin Firmani. She is also survived by her niece and nephews, and her good friend, Diane.
