Frank Procek, age 89 of Wilmington, DE passed away on May 2, 2022. He was born and raised in the city of Wilmington and was the son of the late Anastasia “Nellie” (Cyck) and John Procek.
Frank proudly served his country in the US Air Force during the Korean War. Frank worked for many years and retired from the Electric Hose & Rubber Company where he was a machine operator. After retirement, he was active in the Senior Citizens’ organization in Wilmington and enjoyed taking exercise classes. He was a resident for many years at Gilpin Hall, Wilmington.
Frank was also preceded in death by his older siblings, Max, Joe, Mike (Michael) and Rose Procek King Christiansen and his nephew Michael King. He is survived by his 2 niece Joyce Deakyne (Eugene) of Madison, AL and Jeanne Guinn, Middletown, DE and a large extended family.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on Tuesday, May 10 at 11 am at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. Dupont Hwy, New Castle, DE. The family request that masks be worn at the graveside services.
