Kerry B. Reinbold, Sr., age 71, of Wilmington, DE., passed away April 29,2022 with his family by his side. He was born in Allentown, PA, son of the late Maynard D. Reinbold and Julia K. Donovan (Blackburn).
Kerry worked at General Motors for 30 years where most knew him as “Sarge”. He served his country for over 26 years, first as a young Marine in Viet Nam and continuing his career in the Marine Corps Reserve where he retired as a 1st Sergeant.
Kerry enjoyed riding his motorcycle and exploring parks with his dogs who were waiting his arrival at Rainbow Bridge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Stepmother, Helen Reinbold, brother Edward Reinbold and father-in-law James C. Caudell Sr.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Patricia (Caudell); his children, Kerry Jr. (Natalie), Kevin and Amy Herb (Brian); grandsons, Sebastian and Sawyer Reinbold; siblings, Donald Reinbold (Karen), Marba Reinbold, Dalton Reinbold (Pat), Pam Ohlinger and Judy Deputy (Paul); Mother-in-law, Connie Caudell and his wife’s family, James Jr, Joseph and David (Donna) Caudell, Barbara Jones and Christine Casapulla (Joe) as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
The family is forever grateful to the Temple Lung Center and the Gift of Life Donor Program.
A viewing will take place on Wednesday, May 18 from 9:30 to 11:30 am, where a funeral service will follow at 11:30 am at McCrery & Harra Funeral Homes, 3710 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington. Burial will then follow at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear.
