Donna was a life-long resident of Wilmington, DE. She was born in Easton, MD and she would tell you that her favorite place and best memories were at Pop Pop’s and Mom Mom’s house in Denton Md.
She is pre-deceased by her parents, Donald L. Watson, and Joanna S. Watson; her paternal grandparents, Millard C. (Cliff) and Eunice Watson of Denton; her maternal grandparents John Wesley Sculley Jr. and Lela Bowling Sculley of Ridgely Md.; and an uncle, James Bowling of Ridgely, Md.
She is survived by her husband John Ohnstad, her sister Lisa Risner (Dennis,) her nephews Eric Risner (Paige,) and Kyle Risner.
Donna’s loves were her husband and immediate family, followed by her beloved pets, her profession, and several close friends. She graduated from John Dickinson High School in 1971, University of Delaware College of Nursing 1976, and Wilmington University 1993 (master’s degree.) After many varied nursing experiences, Donna returned “home” to John Dickinson High School for 30 more years to do what she loved best, where she loved it best.
She would like to thank Damon Saunders, Robbie Johnson, Matt Keen, Pete Metrinko and Lee Raymond for the last and best 5 years of her school nurse career.
