Along with raising her family, Peg’s life was filled with helping others, including volunteer driving for FISH for 43 years and continued to arrange rides for FISH into her 80’s, Hanover Presbyterian Church Food Pantry, Clothing Closet, and as an Elder, Clerk of Session, and Deacon. Peg was honored to make 3 trips to Alabama and Louisiana to do rehab work after Hurricane Katrina and a tornado, all after the age of 70. She also was active in Church Women United and Presbyterian Women. At Maris Grove she served 6 years on the Resident Advisory Council, volunteered at the Nursing Home taking residents to the hair salon, playing bingo and sing-a-longs. In addition to volunteering, Peg enjoyed being with friends and family, refinishing furniture, cooking and baking for others, and most of all living a full and satisfying life! After moving to Maris Grove in 2007, she frequently traveled overseas and in the U.S.
