Beth C. O’Connor, age 69, of Bear, DE passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones on March 22, 2022.
She was born and raised in Wilmington, DE and is the daughter of Delores Sultzer and the late John Wood and was also predeceased by her step-father William Sultzer. Beth graduated from St. Hedwig HS in 1970.
She was a Senior Secretary at the DuPont Company, where she worked for 19 years. Beth enjoyed her retired life and spending time with friends. Being a devoted wife and loving mother, her time with her family was what she cherished the most.
Beth is survived by her husband of 41 years William J. O’Connor; a son, Christopher; a sister, Nadine Sanna (Vincent); 2 cousins, Leona and Rick (Karen) Sklodowski and a large extended family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 28, at 11 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton RC Church, 345 Bear Christiana Rd, Bear, DE 19701, where friends and family may call after 10 am. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society. Please send to St. Elizabeth Seton Church.
