Andrew Spinden, age 57, passed away on March 7, 2022 at Seasons Hospice, Wilmington.
He was born in Wilmington, DE to William and Marie Spinden. Andrew was a graduate of Howard High School of Technology in 1983 and New Castle County Vo-Tech Trade School in 1988. He was a licensed master plumber and most recently worked for Ferry Plumbing, Inc.
Andrew enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, baseball, football and playing with his dogs, Cooper and Tucker. He is survived by his wife Susan M. Spinden, his son Ryan Spinden (Stephanie), daughters, Melissa Spinden, Erin Hoxter (Nate), his mother, Marie Spinden, his granddaughter, Hannah Spinden, his sisters, Marylynn Trikaliotis (Kostas) and Jennifer Brooks (Ed), his sister-in-law Laura Spinden and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, William E. Spinden, Jr., his brother, William E. Spinden, III, his sisters, Jayne Davenport, Susan Sentman and Kelly Lam.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3924 Concord Pike (Rt. 202 South of Silverside Road) Wilmington, DE 19803 where friends may call from 3:00-4:00 p. m. Burial will be private.
